YSUAC LYCEUM BASKETBALL TEAM IS THE WINNER

Inter-school football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, power lifting, and arm wrestling tournament among classrooms and individuals was organized jointly by the RA Power Lifting Federation and the Base Lyceum of the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction. The tournament lasted 3 months. The selected basketball team of the Lyceum participated in the open championship of the Yerevan State Engineering University and ranked one of the best. >>


ARMENIAN-FRENCH JOINT DESIGN REVIEW-CONTEST SUMMED UP

A regular joint architectural design review-contest among students of YSUAC and French Clermont-Ferrand National School of Architecture was summed up on May 4. The assignment was to suggest new architectural solutions in the industrial area bounded by Tigran Mets, Christopor, Arshakunyats and Agatangeghos streets in Yerevan by presentation of architectural restructuring design works. Studying the terrain, the students presented architectural designs with interesting solutions during several days of the contest. >>


REVIEW-CONTEST IN CLERMONT-FERRAND AND IN YEREVAN

YSUAC preparatory program student Arevik Kazanjian won a silver medal in two swimming disciplines at a recent inter-university swimming competition. Arevik let only the representative of the Institute of Physical Culture make her way to the gold medal. The Syrian Armenian student has been involved in swimming for ten years now; she has won gold medals in a number of competitions. Arevik thanked the newly formed YSUAC Coulcil of Diaspora Armenians who suggested and supported her participation. She said she is proud to represent the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction. >>
